Why I Love Science, Math And Art so much

science education

Trust me, I have good reasons…

Many people are always fascinated by how much I love these subjects. These are especially the people who know me well with some of them knowing me since I was a small child. My parents tell me that I started loving art when I was a kid since I would get very excited whenever I saw nice drawings and pictures. Since my early education I also knew that I was good in science and math since I was always top of our class. As I grew older I developed more love for science and math since they were integral subjects of my education. Despite this I still loved art where up to today I am very good in drawing.

Most of the kids we went to school with found it strange that I loved math and science especially chemistry. This is because these were seen as some of the hardest subjects. But I always found them enjoyable and I think the fact that I enjoyed learning them made me perform better than most kids. I especially enjoyed learning new scientific things and solving math problems. When my teachers saw how much I enjoyed learning chemistry and math they gave optimum support. The art teachers were also very supportive even though art was not one of the main subjects.

When I went to college to further my education

I became the chair person of the math club. We could spend hours with my friends playing math related games. The games were especially enjoyable because they would involve solving different types of math issues. I was also a member of the club of science, where I concentrated mainly on chemistry. As science club members we held competitions amongst ourselves and even amongst other colleges. In fact, one of our projects is still shown to the students of the college as an example of that even students can achieve a lot in the science labs.

After I completed my education I got a job which involves science a lot especially chemistry. I deal with chemicals in research labs where my love for chemistry has been very helpful. In my line of work I also need to be good in numbers since I need to do a lot of calculations. My love for math has also been very helpful because calculation errors can cause a lot of harm. Since I got my first job I have been able to progress faster than most people whom we got jobs at the same time. I can only attribute this to the fact that I am very good in what I do and I also love my job.

Despite the fact that my career involves science and especially chemistry I still maintain a deep love for art. At home I have a studio where I ensure I draw at least a single drawing in a week. Because of my day time job I am unable to spend as much time as I would like in the studio. But whenever I have free time I ensure I am drawing or painting. I have even made some money by selling some of my drawings. But I mostly do not draw because of financial reasons, but I do it because I love art.

As a person who loves chemistry, art and math

I usually try to motivate younger people who love learning about these things. Since most young people enjoy learning through games more compared to learning through the conventional methods, I usually try to encourage younger people to engage in games that will help them learn about the things they love. When I was in school, I learnt some of the things I know today throughchemistry science participating in relevant games. I go to schools and other places where younger people usually meet and try to show them the importance of participating in different helpful games that will help them become better in the things they love.

When I was undergoing my education and even now when I am working I have come to learn that it is important for everyone to pursue what he or she likes. Since I loved chemistry and math while in school I was able to perform extremely well and as a result I did not struggle to get a job. I also enjoy my job maximally because I get an opportunity to learn new and interesting things every day. My love for art also gives me an opportunity to relax as I do something I like because I enjoy drawing and painting a lot. Therefore, I am a true testimony that loving the things you enjoy engaging in can be fruitful and enjoyable.

Ugh, it blows my mind how people would WANT to go to college for any of these things… Especially involving science.

Right?! Like, art isn’t that bad though… All we’d do is doodley-squat.
